OUTED!

Well, if there ever was any doubt, I’ve removed it now. I outed myself at work. I wrote an email to a good friend and mistakenly clicked on a co-workers address. My only defense is that I’ve been working the last three weeks without a break, and I’m a bit giddy.
The letter was a little bit mushy, too.
Thank God the pictures I attached didn’t make it through.
But my co-worker is smiling at me in a whole new way now.

My Fantasy CoWorkers…

Umm, can I borrow your stapler?

So what was it you wanted painted?

Want a ride?

Be loved,

You should always Keep a separate e-mail address strictly for work or my case school. Not that I am hiding anything, just I am sure people don’t want to read what I write in an e-mail.

I’m sure it will all be fine in the end. A friend of mine sent out his salary information once to the entire company by replying to “all” instead of to the sender. Whoops doesn’t describe his embarrassment.

That’s a scenario that I expect: some silly slip of the tongue or finger on the keyboard and word will be out. Although I admit I try to be very careful with work email. I do not use it for personal stuff. However, I’ve learned that I need to avoid reading your blog at work! LOL! I wait until I get home. 🙂

Last month a colleague sent out a porn clip… lol He had to apologize en-mass, but I thought it was very considerate.

Oh my Zeus…. I can’t imagine the consequences if it happened to me. Luckily for you that you co-workers are ok 🙂

I thought you worked at a storage place? How many coworkers do you have? I think it should be a happy occasion. In fact, we should send congratulations cards to people whenever this happens.

  7. Nathan Says:

Well, I guess congratulations then! It’s great to be out at work. Every single person at work knows I’m gay, and it feels so good to not hide.

Hehehe… one slight mis-click can change everything! Please don’t let George W near the nuclear warhead button!

I am so glad it worked out well! That is awesome!
